HDPO Joins Partners in Launch of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence in North Darfur

Today, Humanity for Development and Prosperity Organization (HDPO) was honored to join partner organizations, including UNFPA, in the launch of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women in El Fasher, Arua, Zamzam, and Shagra, North Darfur.

The event marked a collective commitment to raising awareness on gender-based violence, promoting the rights and dignity of women and girls, and strengthening community engagement in prevention and response efforts. Through joint action and community outreach, the campaign aims to foster safer, more inclusive environments for all.

HDPO’s participation underscores its leadership role in addressing GBV and reflects its ongoing commitment to advancing human rights, protection, and inclusiveness within humanitarian and development programming.

HDPO remains dedicated to working alongside partners and communities to support survivors, promote prevention, and contribute to long-term social change that upholds equality and dignity across North Darfur.
